We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Insurance Product IT Implementation Lead to drive the successful launch and implementation of new insurance products. Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Product Launch Coordination: Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams throughout the product development lifecycle. Ensure seamless communication and collaboration to meet project timelines and objectives.

  • Insurance Product Development: Leverage solid experience in insurance product development to guide the creation and implementation of new insurance offerings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and align them with business goals.

  • Application Stack Management: Understand and manage the applications stack involved in the new product launch, including sales illustration, rate table setup in core systems, policy printing, and client applications.

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage IT implementation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Develop project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders, including business units, IT teams, and external vendors, to gather requirements, address concerns, and ensure successful product delivery.

  • Problem Solving: Identify potential risks and issues during the product development process and implement effective solutions to mitigate them.

  • Quality Assurance: Oversee testing and quality assurance processes to ensure the final product meets regulatory standards and customer expectations.

  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve product development and implementation processes.

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Proven experience working in a local insurance firm with a strong background in insurance product development and IT implementation.

  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the technology stack involved in insurance product launches, including core systems, sales illustration tools, policy administration systems, and client applications.

  • Project Management: Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully leading complex projects.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address challenges and drive project success.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
