Infrastructure Solution Architect (Cloud & Platform Strategy) - J12423

Pinpoint Asia is partnering with a market-leading Insurance & Financial Services giant to find a seasoned Infrastructure Solution Architect. This is not just a technical delivery role; it is a governance and strategy position for a professional who can bridge the gap between high-level cloud architecture, compliance frameworks, and business continuity.

What You Will Do

• Lead Cloud & Infrastructure Governance: Act as the guardian of the IT infrastructure, ensuring full compliance with group policies and security standards.

• Drive Resilience & Disaster Recovery: Serve as the SME for Business Continuity Management (BCM). You will architect DR plans for business-critical systems, define RTO/MTPD levels, and lead crisis management during critical incidents.

• Architect for the Future: Review and optimize system architectures for performance, availability, and cost-efficiency. You will design Cloud Landing Zones and integrate DevOps best practices.

• Strategic Communication: Author position papers and deliver high-impact presentations to technical teams and senior executives.

• Vendor & Project Oversight: Assist in SOW negotiations and manage external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and without scope creep.

Who You Are

• A Seasoned Veteran: You have 15+ years of total IT experience, with at least 10 years in Infrastructure and 5+ years specifically in Architecture & Design.

• Cloud Expert: Deep technical expertise in Azure and AliCloud is a must, specifically within large enterprise or FSI/Banking environments.

• Network & Ops Savvy: Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN design and DevOps integration.

• Strategic Thinker: You can independently research emerging technologies and propose architectural changes that solve complex problems

• Communicator: You have exceptional written and oral skills in English and Cantonese (Mandarin is a plus), capable of negotiating with vendors and presenting to leadership.

• Qualifications: Degree in IT/Computer Science. TOGAF and Azure Solutions Architect Expert certifications are highly desirable.
