Infrastructure Project Manager - Leading Insurance Group

Our client, a leading insurance group, is looking for a strong infrastructure Project Associate to support their Office expansion/relocation and ongoing infrastructure projects. It is a great opportunity for someone to grow in an enterprise environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Infrastructure Delivery, and IT DevOps projects in multiple technical areas, including Network, Cloud, Database, etc.

• Provide operational lifecycle management across infrastructure delivery, including planning, coordination, implementation, deliverables tracking, etc.

• Manage infrastructure delivery internal engineering team as well as external contractors and vendors. Identify, assess, and escalate issues and potential project risks.

• Work with the business team in defining the operational work scope.

• Provide execution plan across a full infrastructure delivery.

• Provide estimation on resource requirements (cost, time, equipment, etc) of the delivery.

• Review the project schedule with other stakeholders and technical teams that may be affected by the project activities.

• Review Operational Acceptance Testing OATS to ensure all new deployments are operationally sound.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in a hands-on enterprise infrastructure management environment.

• Understanding various technology platforms across Desktops, Distributed Systems, Servers, Data Centers, Storage, Data and Voice Networks, etc.

• Skill in Cloud Services (Azure), JIRA, Confluence, Windows, Unix, SQL, DB2, Sybase, Oracle, O365, SharePoint, Websphere, and Citrix virtualization infrastructure.

• Vendor / SLA Management is preferred.

• Articulate and able to communicate with all levels of stakeholders.

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in IT and/or Business Management from a reputable University.
