About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned IT Infrastructure Manager to act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and operational leader for our enterprise private cloud network and security environments. In this critical role, you will govern system stability, ensure strict regulatory compliance, and drive the strategic lifecycle management of our foundational network and security stacks within a high-stakes, highly regulated enterprise landscape.
Â
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the principal SME and system owner for the private cloud network and security domains. Drive end-to-end lifecycle management, including hardware/software evergreening, strategic capacity planning, patch management, and continuous system optimization.
Architect, deploy, and support complex enterprise connectivity and security solutions. This includes overseeing routing protocols, dataline connectivity, next-generation firewalls (NGFW), load balancers (ELB), proxies, VPNs, and advanced threat sandboxing.
Lead high-severity incident response and complex troubleshooting for mission-critical network and security disruptions. Conduct rigorous root-cause analysis, author detailed incident reports, and implement permanent remediation strategies.
Partner closely with application development teams to facilitate seamless onboarding onto the cloud platform. Act as the primary technical escalation point for resolving complex connectivity, deployment, and network performance challenges.
Work in tandem with cloud enterprise architects, internal business stakeholders, and external technology vendors to design and deploy scalable, secure network architectures that align with overarching business and compliance objectives.
Â
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
A minimum of 8 years of advanced infrastructure engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a formal leadership, managerial, or SME capacity. Prior experience within tier-1 financial institutions or highly regulated enterprise environments is heavily preferred.
Extensive hands-on proficiency with major networking and security vendors (particularly Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Huawei). Solid understanding of cloud-native security paradigms, including Cloud Firewalls, Direct Connect, and Web Application Firewalls (WAF).
Strong working knowledge of ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and strict adherence to financial industry IT compliance, risk, and governance standards.
Highly reliable with a commitment to providing on-call and on-site support for critical IT emergencies in a zero-downtime environment.
Exceptional documentation, reporting, and stakeholder presentation abilities. Fluency in written and spoken English and Cantonese is required; proficiency in Mandarin is highly advantageous.
