Infrastructure Architect Leader - Prominent Financial Institution

Our client is a Prominent Financial Institution,  with a strong technology setup and is looking for an Infrastructure Architecture Leader to drive their future technology expansion. The selected candidate will be leading the infrastructure platform and architecture design and build. It is a great position for someone who wants to build something recognizable and well-known in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, plan, and implementation of the infrastructure architecture and platform services, including LANs, WANs, data center networks, and cloud-based network services

• Develop and maintain infrastructure reference architecture including principles, models, templates, standards, and procedures, and research new trends in technology

• Deliver architectural design on Infrastructure Services that support the scalability of the platform.

• Review the existing platforms and future infrastructure design.

• Guide the infrastructure architecture strategy, roadmaps, and blueprints.

• Evaluate options on Infrastructure design and build options and provide the best recommendations to the senior management.

• Provide Infrastructure services best practices and governance across the technology teams.

• Communicate the infrastructure program architecture with infrastructure teams, project, and application teams.

Requirements:

• At least 8 years of infrastructure design and implementation in a large-scale enterprise environment.

• Managerial and leadership experience in leading a large-scale infrastructure structure.

• Strong infrastructure experience across servers (Windows & Unix), databases, storage, end-user computing, networks, and security.

• Knowledge of network technologies. Ideally with CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE Certifications.

• Understanding of software deployment, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Exposure to API, Gateway Security, and Private / Hybrid / Public Cloud infrastructure.

• Strong leadership skills, interpersonal skills, and analytical and problem-solving skills.

• TOGAF / CTIA / EACOE certifications would be preferred.

• Excellent Communication skills in English and Cantonese.
