Our client, a leading insurance group, is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Architect (Hybrid Cloud), you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing the hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions, incorporating both public and private cloud environments. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including application developers, network engineers, and security professionals, to ensure seamless integration of cloud-based services and infrastructure into our overall technology landscape.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the hybrid cloud architecture blueprint, aligning it with the overall technology strategy and business objectives.

  • Design and implement robust and scalable hybrid cloud solutions, utilizing industry best practices and adhering to security and compliance requirements.

  • Collaborate with application development teams to optimize application deployments in hybrid cloud environments, ensuring high availability and performance.

  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to stakeholders on selecting suitable cloud service providers and establishing appropriate service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Evaluate current infrastructure and identify opportunities for consolidation, virtualization, and migration to the hybrid cloud environment.

  • Define and enforce policies and standards for hybrid cloud infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance, ensuring operational excellence.

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and vulnerabilities associated with hybrid cloud infrastructure through continuous monitoring and proactive security measures.

  • Research emerging technologies and trends in hybrid cloud computing, making recommendations for their adoption to enhance overall infrastructure efficiency.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field; master's degree is preferred.

  • Proven experience as an infrastructure architect, preferably in the financial industry, with a focus on hybrid cloud solutions.

  • Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

  • Proficiency in architecting and deploying cloud-native applications and services using containers, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and DevOps principles.

  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing hybrid cloud architectures, integrating on-premises infrastructure seamlessly with public cloud services.

  • Solid understanding of networking principles, storage technologies, and virtualization technology (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).

  • Familiarity with security and compliance requirements specific to the financial industry, including data privacy regulations.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
