Hybrid Cloud & Network Security Manager

This is an in-house position with a mega enterprise, with a prestigious reputation in the market. As a Hybrid Cloud Network Security Manager, you will be shaping security across hybrid environments. Architect and strengthen defenses—firewalls, IDS/IPS, web and email gateways, APIs—while partnering with the Security Operations Centre for real-time threat response. Leverage your CISSP/CISM credentials and five years of expertise to drive innovation, deliver actionable insights to stakeholders, and build tomorrow’s resilient security posture. Perm Position

Key Responsibilities

• Integrate security measures directly into the architecture and design of all on-premises, cloud, and network platforms.

• Monitor and validate that platform and network security controls are operating effectively.

• Continuously uncover gaps in coverage and drive initiatives to enhance the overall Platform & Network Security service, with emphasis on emerging technologies.

• Secure classic servers, virtual machines, containers, cloud environments, email gateways, and web gateways; ensure relevant logs reach the Security Operations Centre for detection and response.

• Govern firewall rules and configurations, manage IDS/IPS signatures, fine-tune web application firewall policies, and oversee API security safeguards.

• Produce and deliver platform and network security metrics, reports, and service highlights to IT and business stakeholders.

• Support Cyber Security Management with special projects and ad-hoc assignments.

• Champion an inclusive, collaborative culture by actively participating in cross-team and cross-department efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of practical experience in platform and network security across diverse environments.

• Solid grasp of Platform & Network Security services, operating procedures, and best practices.

• Strong service mindset with a focus on meeting customer and business needs.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

• Proven professionalism, discipline, and ethical integrity.

• Hands-on expertise in: Endpoint/Server Security (Anti-Malware & Endpoint Detection and Response), Virtualization and Container Security, Cloud Security controls, Web and Email Security Gateways, Firewall governance and IDS/IPS management, Web Application Firewall, DDoS mitigation, and API protection.

• Industry-recognized certification, such as CISSP or CISM.
