Head of Data and AI Tech - Global Manufacturing Group

We are seeking an influential Data and AI Technology Leader capable of steering technological initiatives and crafting the strategic roadmap to ensure our competitive edge in the fast-evolving digital landscape.

The Data and AI Leader will be responsible for designing and implementing a robust data and AI strategy across the global network. This executive will work directly with the Global CTO to harness data that streamlines operations, boosts efficiency, and drives new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills—a logical, structured thinker—with a proven track record in stakeholder management and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy & Vision: Define and execute a global data and AI strategy that aligns with our overall business objectives. Collaborate with the Global CTO to drive digital transformation initiatives and integrate best practices across our global manufacturing operations.

• Technology Innovation: Oversee the design, implementation, and management of advanced data systems, analytics platforms, and AI solutions to optimize manufacturing processes. Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies to foster innovation and enhanced operational performance.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders—including plant managers, IT departments, and business leaders—to secure alignment and sponsorship of cross-functional projects.

• Team Leadership & Development: Inspire and manage a diverse, globally distributed team of data scientists, engineers, and analysts. Foster an environment of continuous learning and professional growth, ensuring project teams stay motivated and aligned with business goals.

• Project & Change Management: Implement robust governance and oversight processes to ensure the successful delivery of data initiatives across multiple sites, transforming raw data into actionable insights with tangible business impact.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Master's or PhD degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in data analytics, technology strategy, or AI, with significant experience leading complex projects and managing cross-functional teams.

• Prior experience in a manufacturing, retail, supply chain or industrial environment is preferred.

• Deep knowledge of machine learning, artificial intelligence, big data platforms, and cloud computing solutions.

• Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and scale data-driven systems that optimize business processes.

• Exceptional communication skills with a logical, structured approach to articulating complex technology topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Proven success in stakeholder management with the ability to influence at all levels within an organization.

• Strong leadership skills with a history of building, managing, and mentoring high-performing teams.

• A strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic global environment.
