Reporting to the APAC Chief Information Officer / Head, Corporate Banking Technology, the successful candidate will manage teams of IT professionals to develop and maintain the applications and systems for the Corporate Banking business. This person will help build the team and systems from scratch.
Responsibilities:
Formulate development plans in line with business plans and the Company's strategic plan
Ensure effective and efficient systems development processes are in place and adopted
Lead multiple cross-functional delivery teams practicing agile
Provide technology leadership and expertise when defining architectures and selecting tools and technologies
Oversee feasibility studies and propose to management for better productivity and efficiency
Manage and execute the systems development life cycles to produce safe and efficient systems with high quality
Assist the Chief Information Officer in managing and implementing the technology risk management process, which identifies, measures, monitors, and controls technology-related risks
Requirements:
University/college education in Computer Science or a related discipline
Over 15 years of experience in IT applications development preferably in the corporate banking industry of which at least 3 years in a senior management position
Ideally have experience building banking systems from scratch
Solid experience in implementing and supporting real-time mission-critical systems involving cross-platforms
Excellent project and people management skills, and communication and interpersonal skills
