About the Client:
We are partnering with a massive infrastructure and engineering enterprise in Hong Kong. They run highly complex, mission-critical physical networks that keep the city functioning. Their internal engineering and IT teams rely heavily on stable, secure, and available geospatial data to monitor and maintain their assets.
Â
The Role & Landscape:
This is a dedicated BAU (Business as Usual) and production support position. You will own the health, stability, and incident resolution for their enterprise GIS applications.
Act as the primary point of contact for daily operational support, incident management, and root cause analysis for GIS platforms.
Execute system maintenance, including patch deployments, version upgrades, and security remediation.
Run regular system health checks, monitor capacity, and conduct disaster recovery and backup exercises.
Identify bottlenecks in the current operational processes and automate routine troubleshooting tasks where possible.
Â
What We Are Looking For:
Degree in GIS, Computer Science, IT, or a related technical discipline.
3 to 5 years of practical experience supporting enterprise IT systems, ideally focused on GIS applications.
Hands-on administrative and operational experience with ArcGIS Enterprise. Experience with ArcFM or Utility Network is a massive advantage.
Solid grounding in standard IT production support (incident management, software testing, system integration). ITSM/ITIL knowledge is highly preferred.
Fluent in Cantonese and English.
Â
Why Apply To This Role:
This is an opportunity to move away from volatile agency environments or short-term project contracts into a highly stable, in-house infrastructure role. The systems you manage map out critical assets for the region, giving your work direct, tangible impact.
