GenAI & Machine Learning Engineering Lead - International Financial Group

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GenAI and Machine Learning Engineering Lead to join our client's innovative team. This role is pivotal in driving the development and implementation of cutting-edge AI and ML models to address complex business challenges within the financial services sector. A deep understanding of Generative AI tech patterns, alongside a robust grasp of agile solution development principles, is essential. Perm position with great potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML models, ensuring alignment with business objectives and leveraging a diverse range of algorithms and techniques.

• Architect and optimize data pipelines and machine learning production environments, with a focus on cloud-based solutions.

• Utilize advanced programming skills in Python, R, and SQL, along with prompt engineering packages like LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, and Llamaindex, to enhance model performance and integration.

• Drive innovation in AI tech patterns, with an emphasis on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and multi-agent approaches, to deliver state-of-the-art solutions.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML models into existing systems and workflows, facilitating seamless adoption and utilization.

• Mentor and guide a team of engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends and advancements in Generative AI and machine learning, applying insights to enhance our technological capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in the investment and insurance business, with a specific emphasis on Generative AI tech patterns and architecture using Public Cloud (i.e. Azure) and OpenAI services.

• Demonstrated proficiency in data pipeline and machine learning production architecture, particularly within Azure environments.

• Advanced skills in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL, alongside expertise in relevant prompt engineering packages.

• Deep understanding of agile solution development principles and practices.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex business challenges using AI/ML techniques.

• Strong leadership and communication skills, with a track record of successful project management and team leadership.
