Gen AI & Digital IT Business Analyst - Leading Insurance Group

Our client is a leading insurance group devoting great resources to innovative technology, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Business Analyst focusing on Gen AI and Digital Technology in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will have the chance to build AI and digital technologies to drive business growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business requirements, translating them into technical specifications for AI and digital technology solutions.

• Solution Design: Work closely with development teams to design and implement Gen AI-driven solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

• Project Management: Lead and manage projects from inception to delivery, ensuring timely completion within budget and scope.

• Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to identify trends, generate insights, and make informed recommendations to enhance business processes and customer experiences.

• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business units and IT, facilitating effective communication and ensuring stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, proposing innovative solutions to improve digital capabilities and competitive advantage.

• Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring successful adoption and utilization of new technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.

• Around 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a consultancy or insurance environment.

• Strong understanding of Gen AI technologies and their application, and use cases in the insurance industry.

• Proven experience in project management and data analysis.

• Hands-on experience with exploring Gen AI use cases and ideally having worked on prototypes.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Chinese (Cantonese) and English.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., SQL, Python, AI frameworks, project management tools).
