Full-Stack AI Pilot Engineer (Innovation Sandbox) - J12594

The Opportunity

We are looking for two Full-Stack AI Pilot Engineers to join a high-octane Innovation Lab within a leading global financial institution. Reporting directly to the Head of Innovation, you will act as a "Technical Scout"—identifying fashionable new technologies (LLMs, Agentic frameworks, Vision models) and proving their mission-critical fit for the business.

This is a Startup-within-a-Corporate. We want builders who have the "entrepreneurial itch" to tell the business what they need, not the other way around.

What You Will Do (The "Pilot" Mission):

• Scout & Validate: Constantly explore the AI frontier (DeepSeek, Qwen, Gemini, Llama) to see what actually works for local business requirements.

• Rapid Prototyping: Build end-to-end "Pilot" applications in a sandbox environment to gain business buy-in.

• Agentic Orchestration: Design multi-step workflows using Dify, LangGraph, and LangChain.

• Join at the Hip: Work closely with business heads to translate "fashionable" tech into "mission-critical" solutions.

• The Handover: Once the solution "lands" and is proven, you will partner with the Platform and BAU teams to ensure a smooth transition to production.

Technical Requirements:

• Programming: Expert-level Python (Pytorch, CUDA, OpenCV, Gradio).

• LLM Stack: Hands-on with Axolotl, xInference, vLLM, and HuggingFace.

• Full-Stack: Ability to handle both Front-end and Back-end (MySQL, PostgreSQL, JSON).

• Infrastructure: Experience with Docker, VMWare, and Repository Management (GitHub/GitLab).

• Vision/OCR: Knowledge of YOLO, CNNs, and Azure Document Intelligence.

Selection Criteria:

• Education: Strong background in Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering.

• Experience: 4–8 years of hands-on development. Startup founders or early-stage engineers are highly preferred.

• Trilingual: Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is mandatory to evaluate local language prompt outcomes.

• The "Hobbyist" Mindset: You build AI tools in your spare time and can walk us through your GitHub.
