Front to Back Trading Platform Technical Product Owner

Our client is a prominent financial institution with a strong trading portfolio in the global market, they are seeking a highly skilled Front-to-Back Trading Platform Technical Product Owner to join the technology team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in leading the development and execution of the design and build of the trading platform, ensuring seamless integration across all front-to-back systems. As the Technical Product Owner, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define and prioritize product features, guide the development process, and deliver high-quality solutions to meet the evolving needs of the stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of the front-to-back trading platform strategy in collaboration with stakeholders and key partners.

• Define and prioritize the product roadmap and feature backlog based on market trends, client feedback, and business requirements.

• Work closely with engineering teams to drive the execution of the product roadmap, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.

• Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and identify opportunities for product enhancement.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback and insights to inform product decisions and drive continuous improvement.

• Act as a subject matter expert on the trading platform, providing guidance and support to cross-functional teams and clients as needed.

• Monitor key performance indicators and metrics to track the success of the trading platform and make data-driven decisions to optimize performance and user experience.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

• Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner or similar role in the financial services industry, with a focus on front-to-back trading platforms.

• Understanding of various asset classes including Equity and Fixed Income.  

• In-depth knowledge of trading platforms, market structure, and financial products.

• Strong technical background and understanding of software development methodologies and processes.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Certified Scrum Product Owner or similar certification preferred.
