FIX Connectivity Support Engineer - Leading Investment Bank

Our client, a leading investment bank, is looking for an experienced FIX Connectivity Support Engineer. The selected candidate will be managing the FIX connectivity support across the front office space. Perm Position with great culture and benefits.


  • Provide support for FIX connectivity applications including Single Orders, Algo Trading, Executions, Allocations, IOI, Trade Adverts, and Asian Exchange components.

  • Provide technical connectivity management on FIX testing & certifications of FIX clients, FIX vendor, FIX broker, and internal & external dark & lit pools & exchanges.

  • Provide support to various trading desks of High Touch & Low Touch cash Equities, SWAP desk, and F&O desk.

  • Configuring systems according to the defined technical specifications

  • Implement new system features, upgrade, and enhancement, and coordinate the deployment to production.

  • Work closely with the global support team to provide FIX support to global users.


  • At least 5 years of experience in supporting FIX connectivity systems or related financial trading systems.

  • Experience in FIX certification and FIX client onboarding.

  • Solid experience in Linux/ Unix shell scripting. Python is a plus

  • Proven experience in Cameron FIX or Appia or other FIX engines.

  • Excellent knowledge of Cash Equity business in a DMA/DSA, Agency, and Program FIX environment.

  • Excellent knowledge of SWAP, Future & Options business in a DMA & DSA FIX environment.

  • Good knowledge of exchange rules of Asian markets (HK/China CONNECT/JP/KR/SG/TW/AU/IN/ID).

  • Good understanding of Trade Flow systems needed for DMA/DSA trade booking, especially in ID markets like CONNECT, Korea, Taiwan, and India.

  • Good understanding of Order Management Systems like Fidessa, Flextrade, etc.

  • Understanding of TCP/IP network protocol.

  • Excellent communication skills in English.

  • Engineering degree from a reputed University
