The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Fintech Software Engineer to join the firm's Hong Kong-based development team. This is a unique opportunity for a junior developer to step into a high-ownership role, acting as a primary technical partner for the Global Operations and Business Management teams.

You will not just be "writing code"; you will be designing and building the critical automation frameworks that ensure the firm’s operational accuracy and efficiency. This role offers a unique mix of greenfield development, process automation, and direct business interfacing.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership:Â Act as the trusted technical partner for the Business Operations and Management teams, translating complex requirements into robust software solutions.
Process Automation:Â Design, develop, and deploy tooling to automate trade bookings, data reconciliations, and internal financial controls.
Platform Evolution: Contribute new features to the firm’s internal web application suite, enhancing functionality and UI/UX for global users.
Data Engineering:Â Take ownership of data sources to create high-impact reports, dashboards, and automated monitoring tools.
System Integrity:Â Maintain and enhance existing reconciliation processes, ensuring 100% data accuracy in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

Your Profile
Experience: 2–3 years of professional software development experience (Junior candidates with high potential are encouraged).
Tech Stack: Expert proficiency in Python is a must, specifically with Pandas and Numpy.
Data Skills:Â Strong understanding of SQLÂ and database management (Read/Write).
Problem Solver:Â A "data-oriented" individual who enjoys troubleshooting complex issues and delivering high-quality, testable code.
Communication:Â Excellent stakeholder management skills; able to explain technical concepts to business-focused teams.
Education:Â Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
Nice-to-have:Â Prior experience in Financial Services or familiarity with AWS/Modern Cloud platforms.
