Our client is a Prestigious Finance Trading Solutions Platform, with enterprise-grade service level. Currently looking for a FinTech Project Assistant/ Project Manager. The selected candidate will be tasked to assist in delivering financial technology solutions to enterprise clients and end-to-end integration solutions for projects. It is a great position for someone who wants to step into the Financial sector to work on something recognizable and well-known in the market. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the senior project manager in delivering financial technology solutions to enterprise clients.

  • Lead end-to-end integration solutions for projects.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure successful delivery of solution integration projects.

  • Coordinate with various teams to obtain project plan approvals, identify resources, resolve constraints, and deliver high-quality application systems.

  • Manage internal and external communication, including project cost, risk, and status updates.

  • Evaluate challenges, develop contingency plans, and provide alternative solutions to minimize business risks.

  • Control projects and maintain relationships with internal and external teams to meet project milestones.

  • Proactively manage risks and issues, facilitate mitigation, resolve conflicts, and prepare timely contingency plans.

  • Prepare and present project status reports to relevant stakeholders.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or Finance-related discipline.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in technology project management.

  • Preferably, experience in system integration within the financial services industry.

  • Previous experience in equity trading or clearing systems is advantageous.

  • Strong knowledge of project management principles.

  • Sound understanding of banking and information technology.

  • Continuously update knowledge in project management, technology, and business domains.

  • Hands-on approach in addressing project issues and managing SIT/UAT defect resolution.

  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua considered an advantage.

  • Customer-oriented mindset with attention to detail.

  • Strong analytical, planning, and presentation skills.

  • Outgoing, positive attitude, team player, and self-motivated.

  • Candidates with extensive experience may be considered for Project Manager positions.
