Our client, a top-tier investment bank, is looking for an experienced Fidessa developer/system analyst to join their fast-growing Equity IT team in Hong Kong.

Requirements:
Design and develop the Front office trading platform, including the main Order Management System Fidessa
Collaborate in the implementation and configuration of vendor Research applications, such as FactSet, while exploring opportunities to develop in-house add-ons that enhance business features.
Proactive delivery of high-quality and cutting-edge technology solutions for the trading desk.
Conduct feasibility studies and impact analysis on new enhancements and features
Manage the entire application delivery lifecycle across concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to production and support
Work with the business in solving business problems through technology in a fast environment, while maintaining high-quality software and performance, including Front Office, Operations, Finance, Risk Management, etc.
Expose to the business in understanding and learning the business logic including risk management and operations.
Deliver innovative forward-thinking solutions with the team in bringing technological advancement
Non-working hours (e.g. early morning or weekend) standby support may be required but not frequent

Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Solid experience in the Investment Banking or Securities Trading industry with relevant exposure to the development and support of Equities Trading Applications, electronic Exchange connectivity, FIX client connectivity, and DMA
Experience in Fidessa application development like TCL script and Expression Evaluator will be an advantage
Possess comprehensive expertise in the FIX protocol, encompassing a deep understanding of its application from the client, exchange, and broker perspectives.
Knowledge of the UL Bridge FIX platform and Sybase database will be an advantage
Knowledge and skills of system programs on Windows, UNIX platform, and relational database
Knowledge and experience in Java/C# are preferred and Microsoft SSIS is the advantage
Nice to know Bloomberg/Reuters market data for instrument analysis
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong team player and open to new ideas with the ability to pay attention to details even under pressure
Self-motivated, keen learner with and strong sense of ownership and accountability
