Our client, a leading enterprise with a sophisticated technology setup, is looking for an ERP Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and implementing solutions that seamlessly integrate various enterprise systems with our ERP platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. This role requires technical knowledge of ERP systems and integration methodologies to ensure data integrity, security, and system scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop integration solutions that connect the ERP platform with internal enterprise systems.
Collaborate with business analysts, system architects, and other stakeholders to identify integration requirements, define business processes, and determine appropriate integration patterns.
Assess the feasibility and complexity of integration requests, and provide technical recommendations and impact analysis to ensure efficient resource utilization.
Ensure adherence to integration best practices, data standards, and security protocols.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging of integration solutions, troubleshoot issues, and provide timely resolutions.
Collaborate with vendors and third-party providers to evaluate and implement integration tools, connectors, and APIs.
Maintain accurate documentation of integration processes, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
Monitor integration performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to improve system efficiency and response time.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
Proven experience as an ERP Integration Engineer, ideally with large enterprise experience from either in-house or external consultancy background.
Expertise in integrating ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
Strong knowledge of integration design patterns, RESTful and SOAP APIs, XML, JSON, and data transformation techniques.
Experience with ETL tools, database management systems, and SQL programming.
Familiarity with cloud-based integration solutions (e.g., iPaaS).
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated and able to work independently.
