We are seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Cash Equities IT Business Analyst to join our client's investment banking IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology initiatives and solutions related to front-office sales and trading. This role requires a solid understanding of cash equities trading and a proven ability to bridge the gap between business and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with front-office sales and trading teams to understand their technology needs and requirements.
Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and system functionalities related to cash equities trading.
Develop and implement technology solutions to enhance trading performance and efficiency.
Work closely with IT teams to design, test, and deploy new trading platforms and systems.
Provide support and troubleshooting for trading systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Conduct gap analysis and identify areas for process improvement and system enhancement.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and competitiveness.
Prepare and present reports and updates to senior management on technology initiatives and their impact on trading operations.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, PMP) is a plus.
5 - 8 years of experience in a business analyst role within the financial services industry, with a focus on cash equities trading and IT solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python) and familiarity with trading platforms and systems (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, FIX protocol).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to cash equities trading.
