Our client, a leading brokerage firm, is now looking for an application support analyst to join their growing IT team in Hong Kong. You will be joining an excellent and stable environment and working with the front office, traders etc.
Responsibilities:
L2 support and implement the firm's Equities Front Office Applications: strong understanding of front-to-back operations (from pre-trade, execution, through to post-trade support).
Work directly with the Front Office to support the Traders and other business units providing timely technical/functional support.
Take ownership of production issues and provide incident management.
Onboarding new platforms, managing rollouts to the end users, and operational tasks (new account setup, problem tracking, report generation, monitoring connectivity and market risk applications etc).
Requirements:
Between 3-5+ years of application support at a reputable financial firm or bank.
Commercial experience/knowledge in Equities, FX, or Fixed Income.
Possess energy and enthusiasm to work with different Front Office users.
Proficient in the following technical skills: Python, Perl, Unix/Linux, SQL, Shell, FIX, etc. (Strong scripting/programming ability in python and/or perl preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
