Our client is looking for a SRE to join their Electronic Trading Technology Support Team to ensure business continuity. The focus is to create a world-class and reliable trading and technology platform.
Job Responsibilities
Take an engineering-first approach to automate the monitoring, deployment, and operation process utilizing tools and services, covering monitoring, reporting, and deployment
Support the front office trading desks, identify and troubleshoot issues, and drive their resolution.
Work with traders, quants, and other internal teams to reduce risk
Job Requirements:
Proficiency in at least one programming language (i.e. Python, Java, Go, etc.)
Strong relational database and Linux knowledge, not limited to job scheduling, troubleshooting processes, and machine configurations.
Supporting a low-latency trading environment is preferred
Computer Science degree or equivalent
A self-starter who demonstrates strong ownership and takes a deep-diving approach
Analytical mentality who takes a data-driven approach to problem-solving
Highly collaborative and works well within a team
Works effectively in a lean agile framework
Strong written and verbal communication skills
