End User Technology Manager - Investment Banking

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Workspace Technology Engineer to lead, design, engineer, and support a diverse range of workspace technologies and office automation systems for our investment banking client. This position covers both on-premises and cloud-based products and services, ensuring adherence to the firm's design principles, IT security, compliance, and regulatory standards. In-house perm position.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support engineering efforts across workspace technologies, including Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Exchange, Teams, and more.

  • Manage workspace technology projects, ensuring adherence to governance frameworks and proactive monitoring to address issues.

  • Innovate and implement solutions to meet business needs and enhance existing technologies and workflows.

  • Maintain system health and stability, establishing OLAs with Technology Operations for support.

  • Develop and track KPIs for system performance, ensuring compliance with IT security baselines and regulatory requirements.

  • Provide Level-3 escalation support, coordinate impact assessments, and document design and implementation for operational use.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.

  • Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in end-user technology.

  • Extensive experience with the mentioned workspace products and application stacks.

  • Proven track record in the implementation and administration of end-user computing systems.

  • Strong practical experience in adopting beneficial technologies for the firm.

  • Proactive and responsive attitude toward business requests.

  • Agile and pragmatic mindset for driving changes.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and incident-management skills.

  • Proficient in digital tools for project and task management.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese (including Putonghua).

  • Microsoft MCSE or MCP certification is an advantage.

  • Experience in investment banking or regulated industries is a plus.
