The Opportunity

Pinpoint Asia is partnering with a market-leading insurer to hire a strategic leader for their Enterprise GenAI Initiative.

While the engineering teams build the "AI Factory," we need a Business Leader to define the commercial roadmap. You will report to the Digital Office and act as the bridge between the Boardroom and the Delivery Squads, ensuring our multi-million dollar investment in AI yields tangible business results.

The Mandate (The "Diplomat & Strategist")

You are the primary interface between the Tech Squads and the Business Units (Distribution, Claims, Operations). You will oversee the Product Owners and drive the adoption of AI across the enterprise.

• Commercial Strategy & ROI: You own the business case. You will secure board-level funding, manage the investment model, and rigorously track the "Value Realization" of every AI use case. If a project isn't delivering ROI, you make the strategic call to pivot or stop.

• Stakeholder Diplomacy: You are the ultimate escalation point. You will navigate the complex friction between Agile Squads, Legacy IT, Information Security, and Business Heads to keep the roadmap moving.

• Product Vision: You define the "North Star." You will prioritize which battles to pick—whether to focus on Agency Chatbots for revenue growth or Auto-Underwriting for operational efficiency.

• Change Adoption: You drive the cultural shift. You aren't just deploying software; you are changing how the business operates, ensuring the organization is ready to adopt new Agentic AI workflows.

The Ideal Candidate (The "Consulting Director")

• Boardroom Presence: You have the "gravitas" to present to a CEO or Board Member. You can simplify complex AI concepts into P&L impact.

• Value Obsessed: You don't care about the tech stack as much as the outcome. You constantly ask: "How much time does this save?" or "How much revenue does this generate?"

• Polished but Agile: You likely have a background in Management Consulting (Big 4 / Strategy House) but possess the "Fail Fast" mindset of a digital native. You know how to run a "Startup" inside a regulated corporate environment.

Requirements

• Experience: 12-15+ years in Digital Transformation, Strategy Consulting, or Product Leadership.

• Domain: Strong exposure to Insurance (Life/General) or Banking is critical. You must understand the value chain (Agency Distribution, Claims, Operations) to argue the business case effectively.

• Track Record: Proven experience leading large-scale digital programs where you held budget/P&L responsibility.

• Tech Savvy: While not a coder, you understand the distinctions between GenAI and Traditional ML and can challenge Technical Leads on feasibility vs. value.

• Language: Fluency in English is mandatory. Cantonese is highly preferred for local stakeholder management.
