Our client, a leading financial institution is looking for a Digitalization Project Manager for the Regulatory Transformation Programme. This role requires a deep understanding of banking regulations and compliance, along with expertise in project management, technology implementation, and change management. The Digitalization Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of digital solutions that enhance regulatory processes and drive operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities:


  • Lead the digitalization efforts of the Regulatory Transformation Programme, working closely with key stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan, incorporating timelines, resources, and budgets to achieve project goals within defined parameters.

  • Collaborate with internal and external technology partners to identify, evaluate, and implement digital solutions for regulatory compliance and reporting.

  • Explore innovative solutions including big Data Engineering and Analytics, machine learning, and natural language processing, to achieve more efficient and effective regulatory management processes.

  • Own the change management process for digital transformation initiatives, ensuring effective communication and training plans are in place to drive user adoption and minimize business disruption.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with regulators, industry associations, and other key stakeholders to stay informed about emerging trends, regulations, and best practices in digital technology and regulatory compliance.

  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues, and ensuring timely resolution to keep the project on track.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business and technology priorities, providing guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize processes, streamline workflows, and leverage emerging technologies for regulatory compliance.

  • Stay abreast of technological advancements and industry developments to identify new opportunities for digitalization within the regulatory landscape.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, preferably in the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on regulatory compliance and digital transformation.

  • Demonstrated understanding of banking regulations and compliance requirements, with the ability to translate them into actionable digital solutions.

  • Proven track record in successfully managing complex projects, including technology implementations, within budget and timelines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive innovative solutions.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience in change management and driving user adoption of digital solutions.

    Knowledge of emerging technology trends and their application in the banking and financial services industry.

  • Project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are highly desirable.
