Digital Frontend Software Engineer - Private Banking

Our client, a major player in the Private Banking industry, is seeking a talented Digital Frontend Software Engineer to join the regional development team. You will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that drive the digital transformation of private banking.

Responsibilities:

• Develop highly responsive user interfaces using the latest front-end technologies.

• Implement and maintain a design system to ensure consistency and scalability across all applications.

• Design and implement front-end architecture that supports the overall goals of the organization.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Contributing to core library and design system.

• Stay up-to-date with modern JS libraries and frameworks, with a focus on React JS.

• Apply Agile development principles, methodologies, and DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of software engineering practices and standards.

• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and a passion for high-quality engineering.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 5-8 years of proven experience as a Digital Frontend Software Engineer or similar role.

• Strong proficiency in modern JS libraries and frameworks, particularly React JS and Stencil JS.

• Solid experience on REST APIs, JSON, Test Driven Development (TDD) and standards.

• Solid understanding of front-end architecture and design principles.

• Experience working in an Agile development environment.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Self-starter mindset with strong leadership skills and team-oriented goals.

Nice to Haves:

• Understanding of mobile platforms and experience with the Ionic framework

• Knowledge of backend technologies and APIs.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing say Jest and Cypress.

• Understanding of UX/UI design principles.

• Experience working in the financial services industry.

• Knowledge of financial industry regulations and compliance standards.

• Strong collaboration skills with team members and stakeholders across the globe.
