The Digital and Mobile Engineering Manager will oversee the end-to-end delivery of digital and mobile solutions that drive innovation and customer-centric experiences. The role is a blend of strategic leadership and hands-on technical oversight, ensuring the successful management of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), collaboration with product teams, and ongoing production support to maintain optimal system performance. Key Responsibilities
Engineering & Solution Delivery:Â Lead the design, development, and deployment of multi-tiered web and mobile applications. Ensure projects follow agile practices, remain on schedule, and meet organizational standards.
Collaboration with Product Teams:Â Work with product management and business stakeholders to understand and refine requirements, translating them into detailed technical specifications and actionable roadmaps.
Team Guidance and Coordination:Â Oversee both local and offshore development teams by directing, mentoring, and facilitating effective collaboration. This includes managing day-to-day tasks, ensuring continuous improvement, and cultivating a culture of excellence.
Production Support:Â Provide robust production support by managing post-deployment issues and performing root cause analyses to prevent recurring problems.
Technical Oversight: Leverage modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React) for front-end development and Node.js for server-side logic. Utilize cloud technologies and ensure infrastructure components, such as high availability, load balancing, and database connectivity, meet performance and scalability requirements.
Process Improvement:Â Establish and enforce development standards, quality gates, and continuous integration (CI/CD) practices. Advocate for DevOps methodologies to increase efficiency throughout the SDLC.

Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Experience:Â At least 8 years of experience in software engineering with a proven record of leading cross-functional teams. Experience in high-paced environments, particularly within the insurance or financial services sectors, is highly desirable.
Technical Expertise:Â Proficiency in Angular, React, Node.js, and cloud-based technologies. Extensive experience with multi-tiered web/mobile architectures, high availability systems, load balancing, and database connectivity.
Leadership & Communication: Demonstrated ability to guide geographically distributed teams while ensuring clean communication and collaboration. The role requires clear articulation of technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Project Management:Â Hands-on experience managing the full SDLC, using agile methodologies to respond to evolving business needs and optimizing workflows.
