Our client, a leading brokerage firm, is seeking a high-caliber Business Analyst to join the Hong Kong-based Global Derivatives technology team. You will act as the key conduit between front-office users, risk management, and software engineering teams, translating complex trading requirements into scalable, robust technical solutions for new and ongoing initiatives

Key Areas of Responsibilities
Requirement Engineering:Â Collaborate with business stakeholders to extract, analyze, and thoroughly understand their operational needs, proposing optimal technical workflows.
Functional Specification:Â Translate high-level business requirements into detailed technical specifications and partner closely with developers to ensure accurate delivery.
Lifecycle Documentation:Â Build and maintain clear functional requirement documents and design specifications across the entire project lifespan.
Quality Assurance Strategy:Â Define comprehensive testing parameters, directly lead System Integration Testing (SIT), and smoothly coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with the desk.
Change Management:Â Communicate system and workflow enhancements to cross-functional teams, ensuring flawless implementation and operational readiness.
Risk Management:Â Proactively identify and escalate delivery or operational risks, offering both immediate tactical workarounds and long-term strategic fixes.
Project Coordination: Facilitate cross-team administrative and coordination tasks to keep delivery timelines on track.

Professional Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related quantitative discipline.
Experience:Â 5 to 10 years of dedicated Business Analyst experience within an investment bank, institutional brokerage, or financial technology environment.
Domain Expertise:Â Strong foundational knowledge of Derivative products (e.g., Options, Swaps, Futures). Exposure to Prime Services or complex OTC structures is highly beneficial.
Technical Acumen:Â Familiarity with SQL, data manipulation, or basic scripting languages for data analysis is a distinct advantage.
System Familiarity:Â Past exposure to enterprise-scale Order/Trade Management Systems (OMS/EMS) or vendor trade lifecycle platforms is a plus.
Communication:Â Exceptional verbal and written presentation skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin capability is highly regarded).
Execution Style:Â Strong analytical problem-solving skills, extreme attention to detail, and the ability to operate independently within a structured team environment.
