Roles and Responsibilities:
Be responsible for managing Microsoft SQL, Oracle, Sybase, and another database (such as Mongo DB atlas)
Be responsible for configuring and maintaining database servers and processes
Be responsible for monitoring and ensuring system health and performance
Be responsible for ensuring high levels of performance, availability, sustainability, and security
Be responsible for resolving issues and providing suggestions for solution
Provide 24x7 support for critical issues
Be responsible for performing scheduled maintenance and supporting release deployment activities
Be responsible for the technical support and maintenance of Premise Infrastructure (Server, Storage, Database, Network) and Cloud Computing environment, manage the assigned team and external vendors to maintain the infrastructure at a high level of availability
Be responsible for provisioning resources, selecting an appropriate deployment model, directing testing protocol to validate infrastructure in particular, and monitoring performance after release. Tasks might include, results analysis, problem troubleshooting, and issue communication back to the project team
Implement and maintain automation and maintenance in the various environments, systems, and services
Provide incident support and on-call service for the system and services, Develop/Identify, implement, and maintain system management tools that mitigate manual effort
Implement automated management features, such as performance monitoring, diagnostics and failover, and availability capabilities
Work with other IT staff and external vendors in assigned project activities
Participate in the development and review of the design of cloud-based IT solutions with a focus on infrastructure and integration

Minimum Job Requirements:
At least 3 years of relevant experience
University Graduate / Higher Diploma or equivalent
Experience as a Microsoft SQL Server DBA or similar role
Strong IT hardware and operations background with hands-on expertise in database, servers, storage, and network device installation, provisioning, and monitoring
Ability to identify, assess, and integrate various open-source technologies and cloud services
Knowledge of how to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in test and production environments
Bilingual (English and Chinese)
