Responsibilities:
Develop and implement data-driven solutions, leveraging a combination of statistical modeling, machine learning techniques, and programming skills
Design and develop innovative algorithms and predictive models to solve complex business problems in the financial services domain
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, identify data requirements, and formulate analytical solutions that deliver measurable business value
Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in data science and machine learning, and proactively suggest new solutions to improve business processes and optimize performance
Requirements:
Bachelor/Master's Degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related disciplines
3-8 years of experience in the data science space
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala
Solid understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning, and data mining techniques
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Prior experience in the financial industry or fintech projects is a plus
Strong communication skills in English and Chinese, Mandarin is a plus
