The Role & Landscape:

• Act as a core support member to drive organisation-wide data governance initiatives.

• Focus heavily on unstructured data management to build foundations for AI and data analytics use cases.

• Support the implementation of the Data Governance Framework and internal Data Policy.

• Design and optimise technology for metadata management, auto-classification, data tagging, and data quality.

• Establish ontology and manage taxonomy to enhance enterprise data discoverability.

• Support data privacy, protection, and security compliance in alignment with regulatory requirements.

• Monitor governance effectiveness and recommend continuous improvements.

What We Are Looking For:

• You must have 1 year + experience in data management and data governance.

• Prior experience in Technology, Banking or Financial Services is preferred.

• You bring solid experience in metadata management, data classification, and access controls.

• You possess hands-on experience with data governance tools such as data catalogues and data lineage platforms.

• You understand the data governance foundation required for AI readiness, including Text-to-Insights and semantic search.

• You have proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, profiling, and analysis.

• You possess a working knowledge of Python for data processing, automation, and text mining.

• You have familiarity with API integration and RESTful API calls for tool integration.

• You have strong communication skills and the ability to cooperate with various technical teams.
