Our client is a leading large enterprise, they are currently working on some new innovation and data programme. They are looking for an experienced Solution Architect particularly in Data Engineering and Analytics to design and build their future platforms which support various use cases in the future.

Responsibilities:
Lead the technical engineering design and delivery of the Data Engineering and Analytics Applications Platform supported by the latest Cloud and Data technology.
Provide technical best practices on the use of technologies to the application development team.
Design and review the PoC, architecture, infrastructure design, database design, etc.
Be technical expertise in Data technology, and provide expertise in solving technical problems.
Work with various technical and business development in understanding various usages and designs for the Data programme.
Collaborate with technology fellows to design innovative and effective solutions.
Manage the end-to-end technology design, development, testing, implementation, and support of the platform.
Lead development projects across technology resources, timelines, and technical details.
Requirements:
At least 8 years of experience in enterprise technology with solutions and architecture design experience.
Technology experience in Data Technology including Data Science (R, Python), Visual Tools (SAS, Tableau), ETL (Informatica / Talend), DWH (Oracle Exadata, SQL Server, Teradata), or/and Data Lake (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive, MapReduce) etc.
Ability to lead in architecture analysis, modeling, and design ensuring alignment with business and Architecture strategy. This includes the ownership of the architectural artifacts, controlling the architectural integrity, and managing critical architectural trade-offs.
Strong experience in application solution architecture working with infrastructure cloud, database, API, microservices, etc.
Strong interpersonal, team-building, and communications skills
Good communication in English and Cantonese.
Project Management certifications in PMP or Scrum Master are a great plus.
Engineering / Information Systems Degree from a reputable University.
