Data Center Engineer - Prop Trading Firm

My client, a leading proprietary trading firm, is looking for a skilled DC Engineer to help with their trading infrastructure expansion plan in Hong Kong

Responsibilities:

• Integrate infrastructure components within colocations, optimizing space and layouts

• Hands-on maintaining data center infrastructure, including server, network, and storage hardware

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to colocation deployments and cross-connects

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot data center equipment and network infrastructure

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, or a related field

• Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin

• Proven experience in managing data center infrastructure, particularly in colocations within the APAC region

• Strong understanding of server, network, and storage hardware

• Proficiency in data center equipment installation, configuration, and troubleshooting

• Familiarity with electrical and data center safety protocols

• Knowledge of various Windows OS with their related applications and some familiarity with Linux OS

• Basic understanding of network infrastructure cabling and relevant tools
