We are seeking a Data Business Analyst with deep Consumer Goods/Retail domain expertise and enterprise SaaS experience. You will act as the key link between global enterprise clients and our engineering teams—translating complex requirements into technical specs, leading end-to-end software delivery, and managing project risks.
Â
Key Responsibilities
Gather client requirements (supply chain, quality, compliance); write clear user stories, functional specs, and acceptance criteria; perform gap analysis.
Own delivery from kickoff through UAT and go-live; build project plans; manage scope, timelines, and risk mitigation.
Draft clear functional specifications, detailed user stories, and precise acceptance criteria to guide the software engineering teams.Â
Serve as the main functional point of contact for global enterprise accounts; lead workshops, steering committees, and system demos.
Facilitate discovery sessions, system demonstrations, user workshops, and steering committee reviews.
Establish trusted partnerships with C-level and director-level client stakeholders (such as CIOs, VP of Quality, and Heads of Sustainability).
Collaborate across internal departments, aligning product managers, developers, quality assurance teams, and customer success managers.
Â
Required Qualifications
5-8 years working in a combined BA and PM capacity within an enterprise software or product-driven SaaS organization.
Deep understanding of the consumer packaged goods (CPG), apparel, footwear, or FMCG sectors—specifically regarding sourcing, regulatory compliance, quality management, or sustainability.
Direct experience working with scalable, out-of-the-box SaaS platforms rather than custom-built IT services.
Outstanding ability to break down complex business problems into logical, structured requirements for development teams.
Strong written and verbal English communication, with the confidence to present complex solutions to executive audiences.
Hands-on experience collaborating with international clients across various geographies and time zones.
Proficiency with tracking and planning tools, including JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Excel, and process mapping software.
Experience with PLM, ERP, or LIMS systems (e.g., Centric, SAP, Oracle).
Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (EUDR, DPP, PPWR) or API integrations.
