Our client, a leading insurance group, is looking for a dynamic and experienced Data Architecture Lead with a deep understanding of Azure Cloud and a passion for leveraging advanced analytical techniques. As a Data Architecture Lead, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our enterprise data architecture to support our evolving business needs. Perm Position.

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute the overall data architecture strategy, aligning it with the firm's goals and objectives.

  • Design and implement scalable and robust data models for capturing structured and unstructured data from various internal and external sources.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data integration and data exchange requirements, ensuring seamless connectivity between different systems.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to data engineers and analysts in the implementation and maintenance of data solutions.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality, integrity, and security standards.

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions that support business growth and competitive advantage.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data requirements, provide insights, and shape data-driven solutions.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in data architecture, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing data solutions on Azure Cloud.

  • Strong knowledge of data architecture principles, methodologies, and best practices.

  • Proficiency in Azure services such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks.

  • Sound understanding of data modeling techniques and data integration patterns.

  • Experience with designing and implementing data solutions using modern data architectures (e.g., data lakes, data warehouses, data virtualization).

  • Familiarity with data governance and data management practices.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
