Our client is a major global financial institution seeking a talented Data Analytics Associate. Your responsibilities include ensuring that all data analytics and mining activities adhere to data governance standards and maintaining data integrity. You will engage stakeholders to understand their business needs, proactively proposing data-driven solutions. As the business expands, you will also develop advanced and scalable data visualization and Business Intelligence (BI) reporting frameworks to help monitor and drive business growth.

Responsibilities:
Implement and execute the business analytics strategy for the business, leveraging Big Data, Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and other advanced analytical methods.
Conduct deep business analysis focusing on areas like fraud detection for early risk indication, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance, and marketing initiatives to drive revenue growth.
Ensure all data analytics and mining activities are aligned with data governance standards, maintaining data integrity and appropriate data access controls.
Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and proactively propose data-driven solutions.
Innovate and develop rapid prototypes to demonstrate potential solutions, scaling successful prototypes for production.
Develop advanced and scalable data visualization and Business Intelligence (BI) reporting frameworks to support the expanding business needs and data-centric growth strategies.

Key Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following key requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science and analytics, with demonstrated expertise in data analytics and data engineering.
Proficiency in data visualization tools, particularly Power BI, and experience with SQL and Python. Familiarity with cloud-based technologies such as Snowflake is a plus.
Ability to apply quantitative techniques for problem-solving while also being innovative and creative.\
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective partnerships across teams.
Experience in the financial industry and an understanding of financial markets are highly desirable.
Proficiency in advanced machine learning techniques, including NLP, Transformer models, LSTM, K-Means, Random Forest, and Gradient Boosting models.
Strong ability to present analytical findings and insights.
Capability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
