Our client, a leading Insurance Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data, Application, Cloud Integration Architect to join their regional technology team. The Integration Architect will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the data, application, and cloud integration architecture, with a specific focus on Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including IT teams, business leaders, and external partners, to ensure seamless integration across different systems and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and oversee the implementation of an end-to-end data, application, and cloud integration architecture, with a specific focus on AWS services.
Evaluate existing infrastructure, identify gaps and opportunities, and propose effective solutions to enhance integration capabilities and meet business requirements.
Collaborate with business and IT teams to understand their needs, gather requirements, and translate them into efficient and scalable integration designs.
Design and implement data integration solutions, including data ingestion, transformation, and delivery processes, ensuring data quality, consistency, and security.
Drive the adoption and utilization of AWS cloud services, identifying opportunities for optimization, cost reduction, and automation.
Optimize integration processes and pipelines to achieve high performance, availability, and scalability.
Collaborate with external vendors and partners to define integration strategies, requirements, and standards.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices, evaluating their potential impact on the integration architecture.
Provide guidance and mentorship to IT teams, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Extensive professional experience as a Data, Application, or Cloud Integration Architect, specifically with AWS.
Strong expertise in AWS services, including but not limited to AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, Amazon API Gateway, Amazon RDS, Amazon Redshift, Amazon Glue, and AWS Step Functions.
Extensive knowledge of Data warehouse, Data Lake, and Data transformation of the Financial industry.
Proven track record of designing and implementing complex data and application integration solutions.
Solid understanding of integration patterns, best practices, and industry standards.
Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or .NET.
Experience with modern integration technologies such as RESTful APIs, SOAP, messaging queues, and event-driven architectures.
Familiarity with data management tools, ETL processes, and data governance frameworks.
Excellent communication in both English and Chinese (Mandarin), documentation, and problem-solving skills.
AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, Data Analytics, DevOps) preferred.
