Cybersecurity Manager - Prominent Financial Institution

Our client is a leading financial institution committed to ensuring the security and integrity of the client's data. We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Manager to join the technology team and lead the efforts to safeguard the digital infrastructure. It is a permanent position.

Responsibilities:

• Take the lead on cybersecurity projects, ensuring timely and effective implementation.

• Manage and monitor security alerts and events, investigating potential security breaches.

• Mitigate security risks by implementing robust security measures and protocols.

• Respond promptly to security incidents, minimizing impact and restoring operations.

• Conduct vulnerability assessments to identify and address potential security threats.

• Review and enhance security solutions and policies to align with best practices.

• Remediate compliance and audit findings to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

• Deploy IT security solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

Requirements:

• A solid foundation as an Infrastructure or Security Engineer with approximately five years of relevant experience.

• Demonstrated expertise in managing Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems and implementing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) strategies.

• Proficient in cloud security protocols, with hands-on experience in configuring and managing layer 3, layer 4, and layer 7 firewalls, Web Application Firewalls (WAF), web proxies, SSLVPN, email gateways, endpoint protection solutions, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Privileged Access Management (PAM) systems.

Preferred Certifications:

• Possession of professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CREST, OSCP, CSM, CCSP, CEH, ISO27001, MCSE, CCNP, or equivalent, which will be considered an asset.
