Cyber Security Lead - Leading Financial Institution

Our client is one of the most prominent financial firms in the region, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Security Lead, to report to the CISO. In this role, you will ensure the security and integrity of our organization's digital information and systems infrastructure. You will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the data, networks, and systems from cyber threats and attacks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive cyber security strategies and programs to protect the organization's digital assets and infrastructure.

• Lead a team of cyber security professionals, providing guidance, expertise, and mentorship to ensure the highest level of security standards are maintained.

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to cyber security, such as GDPR, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001, among others.

• Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and testing to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses in our systems and networks, and implement remediation measures.

• Stay current on emerging cyber security threats, trends, and technologies, and propose innovative solutions and strategies to enhance our overall security posture.

• Collaborate with IT teams, business units, and external partners to ensure a holistic approach to cyber security management and implementation.

• Develop and deliver cyber security awareness training and education programs for employees to promote a security-conscious culture within the organization.

• Prepare and present regular reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders on the organization's cyber security posture, incidents, and mitigation efforts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are highly preferred.

• Extensive experience in cyber security, with a proven track record of implementing and managing security programs in a complex, enterprise environment.

• Proven knowledge of authentication solutions, like Multi-factor Authentication (MFA), OAuth2, SAML, and encryption solutions

• In-depth knowledge of cyber security best practices, methodologies, tools, and technologies. Knowledge of Security Challenges in the Cloud industry would be a great plus.

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team of cyber security professionals.

• Experience working in the financial services industry or a similarly regulated environment is a plus.
