Pinpoint Asia is partnering with a leading Global Investment Bank to find an experienced Electronic Trading System Developer. You will join a high-performing regional team (Hong Kong & Singapore) responsible for developing and maintaining a mission-critical algorithmic execution platform for Asian equities.
This is a rare opportunity to join a stable, seasoned team where you will work on core trading infrastructure, algo strategies, and execution logic in a low-latency environment.
Key Responsibilities
Core Development: Design, develop, and optimize the algo execution platform and proprietary trading strategies using Core Java.
Performance: Enhance existing strategies to improve latency and throughput for Asian market specifics.
Reliability: Develop automated testing frameworks and ensure system stability.
Support: Provide 2nd line support for the platform (occasional early/holiday shifts may be required) to ensure smooth trading operations.
Requirements
Experience: 5+ years of development experience in low-latency, real-time trading systems.
Domain Expertise: Minimum 3 years specifically in Algo strategies, automated trading, or electronic trading (Equities preferred).
Tech Stack: Expert-level Core Java (multi-threading, memory management). Strong knowledge of FIX protocol, Market Data, and OMS integration.
Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Perl, or Shell scripting in a Linux environment.
Visa Status: Strict Requirement: Candidates must hold Permanent Residency (HK/SG) or a valid work visa. Sponsorship is NOT available for this role.
