Our client, a leading insurance firm is looking for a Cloud Operations Manager. The selected Candidate will lead and manage the Cloud Operation team to support Business Units (BUs) in achieving their targets and goals.. Great exposure and opportunity.
Job Responsibilities:
Evaluate, respond to, and resolve cloud service issues promptly, implementing automation to prevent recurrence.
Provide support and guidance to cloud support teams and services, addressing queries and resolving issues.
Manage security settings of the cloud environment, ensuring compliance with relevant policies.
Collaborate with developers and security teams to create and maintain cloud infrastructure.
Oversee monitoring and optimization of cloud systems, implementing Infrastructure as Code practices.
Led the cloud operations team to ensure 24/7 availability of business systems meeting SLAs.
Manage the implementation of cloud programs and foster relationships with vendors.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Over 6 years of relevant experience, including 2 years in a managerial role.
ITIL foundation certification and AWS/Azure certifications are preferred.
Solid experience in regional hybrid environments and multi-availability zones.
Proficiency in AWS services, containers, and Infrastructure as Code tools.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and work autonomously.
Understanding of business practices and IT risk management.
Proficiency in spoken and written English.
