Our client, a leading financial institution, is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Operations Manager, to be responsible for the management and optimization of the cloud infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, scalability, and security. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, security, and application development, to drive efficiency and innovation. Perm Position.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cloud infrastructure ensuring optimal performance, availability, and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement cloud infrastructure policies and procedures.
Monitor and manage cloud resources, capacity planning, and cost optimization.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for the cloud infrastructure.
Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements, implementing necessary controls and measures.
Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure-related issues, working closely with technical teams and external vendors.
Manage external service vendors on project deployment, and applications onboarding to Cloud infrastructure.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, evaluating and implementing new technologies and best practices.
Perform regular audits and assessments of the cloud infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement.
Plan and execute infrastructure migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Develop and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure operations, preferably within the financial services industry.
Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, architecture, and industry best practices.
Proficient in managing public/public cloud platforms.
Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
Solid knowledge of networking principles, security frameworks, and compliance requirements.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide practical solutions.
Strong leadership and communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese), with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
