Our client, a leading financial institution, is looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Operations Manager, to be responsible for the management and optimization of the cloud infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, scalability, and security. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, security, and application development, to drive efficiency and innovation. Perm Position.

Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cloud infrastructure ensuring optimal performance, availability, and scalability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement cloud infrastructure policies and procedures.

  • Monitor and manage cloud resources, capacity planning, and cost optimization.

  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for the cloud infrastructure.

  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements, implementing necessary controls and measures.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure-related issues, working closely with technical teams and external vendors.

  • Manage external service vendors on project deployment, and applications onboarding to Cloud infrastructure.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, evaluating and implementing new technologies and best practices.

  • Perform regular audits and assessments of the cloud infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement.

  • Plan and execute infrastructure migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

  • Develop and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in cloud infrastructure operations, preferably within the financial services industry.

  • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, architecture, and industry best practices.

  • Proficient in managing public/public cloud platforms.

  • Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

  • Solid knowledge of networking principles, security frameworks, and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide practical solutions.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese), with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
