Cloud & Infrastructure Automation Engineer - Hybrid Cloud - J13256

About the Client: We are partnering with a leading global technology services provider to source a cloud specialist for a major infrastructure project with one of Hong Kong's most established enterprise organizations. This environment is highly structured and complex, requiring a focus on stability, automation, and modernized cloud operations.

The Role & Landscape: You will be stepping into an established engineering team responsible for maintaining, automating, and scaling hybrid cloud infrastructure. This isn't just about keeping the lights on; it's about reducing manual overhead through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management.

• Build, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and Alibaba Cloud.

• Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Ansible.

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps.

• Write robust scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python) to automate daily operational tasks.

• Monitor system health and performance using Datadog, implementing SRE best practices.

• Handle core administration for both Windows and Linux environments, alongside MS SQL databases.

What We Are Looking For:

• At least 5 years of solid experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure operations, or DevOps.

• Proven, hands-on experience deploying and managing resources in Azure and/or Alibaba Cloud.

• Strong practical knowledge of Terraform (IaC) and Ansible (Configuration Management) – you shouldn't rely solely on GUIs.

• Solid scripting skills in at least one of the following: Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Demonstrable experience with enterprise monitoring tools (Datadog preferred).

• Comfortable managing both Windows and Linux server environments.

• (Bonus) Certifications such as Azure Administrator, Terraform Associate, or Alibaba ACA/ACP are highly regarded.
