Our client, a leading financial group in the region, is looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineering Manager. As a Cloud DevOps Engineering Manager, you will lead a team of engineers responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the cloud infrastructure. You will provide technical leadership, develop and implement best practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence. Your expertise in cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and scalable infrastructure will be instrumental in ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of the cloud platforms.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of Cloud DevOps Engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and support in their professional growth and development.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to define and drive the cloud infrastructure strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
Establish and implement best practices for provisioning, configuring, and maintaining cloud infrastructure services.
Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of applications.
Develop and implement automation solutions to streamline infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
Ensure the security, efficiency, and reliability of our cloud environments through proactive monitoring, performance optimization, and capacity planning.
Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in cloud technologies, identifying opportunities to enhance our existing infrastructure and processes.
Participate in code reviews, provide technical expertise, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting knowledge sharing and innovation.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
7+ years of professional experience in Cloud DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Strong background in working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and managing Infrastructure-as-Code.
Expertise in designing and implementing highly available and scalable cloud architectures.
Deep understanding of CI/CD principles and experience in configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and propose effective solutions.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are a plus.
