Cloud Deployment Senior Manager - Sophisticated Technology Infrastructure

As the Cloud Deployment Senior Manager, you will lead the strategic deployment, management, and evolution of our hybrid cloud infrastructure. You will harness the power of AWS and Azure while driving efficiency and innovation through Kubernetes, Terraform, and a broad suite of cloud-native technologies. You will be responsible for architecting modern solutions that are robust, scalable, and agile, spearheading the transition to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and orchestration platforms—and ensuring that our cloud adoption remains competitive and cutting-edge.

Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead the design and deployment of a robust hybrid cloud infrastructure utilizing AWS and Azure services.

• Oversee the integration of cloud and on-premises systems to deliver seamless, secure, and scalable solutions.

• Lead initiatives to adopt cloud-native technologies and practices in order to streamline development and operations.

• Drive the adoption of container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes to optimize deployment processes.

• Champion the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies using tools like Terraform to automate provisioning and maintenance.

• Implement and manage orchestration platforms to ensure resilient continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) workflows.

• Manage and mentor a team of cloud engineers and DevOps professionals.

• Coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders to align cloud initiatives with business objectives and ensure timely project delivery.

• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and define strategic roadmaps for cloud platform adoption.

• Develop and enforce best practices, security guidelines, and governance models in a rapidly evolving environment.

• Collaborate with executive leadership to report on cloud performance metrics, cost efficiency, and ROI.

• Act as the primary point of contact for cloud deployment and strategy discussions with external partners and vendors.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience with hybrid cloud environments, particularly AWS and Azure.

• Proven track record in using Kubernetes for container orchestration and managing cloud deployments.

• Extensive experience with Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code tools.

• In-depth understanding of cloud-native technologies and orchestration platforms.

• At least 8–10 years in IT with 3+ years in a leadership role managing cloud or DevOps teams.

• Experience driving technological transformation and innovative cloud adoptions within enterprise settings.

• Strong strategic thinking, planning, and change management skills.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Proven ability to work cross-functionally in fast-paced, dynamic technical environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master's degree or relevant certifications in cloud technologies—like AWS, Azure, Kubernetes—are highly desirable).

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps best practices.

• Experience with cost management and optimization within cloud environments.

• A passion for staying updated on emerging cloud technologies and industry trends.
