Cloud & Platform Program Manager - J12424

Pinpoint Asia is partnering with a Tier-1 Market Leader in the Insurance sector to lead a landmark infrastructure evolution. This is not just a migration role; it is a foundational leadership role.

We are looking for a Program Manager to own the Cloud & Platform roadmap. You will govern the build-out of the enterprise Cloud Landing Zone—the digital backbone—and subsequently lead the migration of nearly 100 applications and hundreds of servers.

Key Challenges & Responsibilities

• Lead the Cloud & Platform Strategy: Take ownership of a multi-year program. You will govern the delivery of the secure Cloud Landing Zone and the subsequent migration of critical business applications to the cloud.

• Strategic Vendor Governance: This is a heavy commercial role. You will drive vendor sourcing (RFPs), draft and negotiate Statements of Work (SoW), and strictly govern vendor project managers to ensure delivery without scope creep.

• Executive Stakeholder Management: Act as the bridge between IT and Business. You will prepare business cases for approval by local and Group EXCOs and collaborate with Finance to justify project expenditures.

• Risk & Operational Excellence: Engage deeply with Compliance, Legal, and Tech Risk teams to ensure the platform meets strict financial services regulations regarding security and data privacy.

The Ideal Candidate

• Experience: 10–15 years of experience in consulting or project management, preferably within the Financial Services industry.

• Technical & Platform Expertise:

  • Proven experience managing Cloud Landing Zone build-outs and large-scale migration programs.

  • Ability to govern vendors delivering Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), security controls, and network connectivity.

  • Solid understanding of hybrid cloud complexities and connecting on-premise data centers to public cloud.

• Commercial Rigor: Strong expertise in budget control, risk management, and Statement of Work (SoW) drafting/review. You must be comfortable managing multi-vendor environments and offshore delivery teams.

• Soft Skills & Language: A self-starter who can work independently. Fluency in English and Cantonese is required; Mandarin is preferred.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or STEM-related disciplines.
