Client Statement Business Analyst / Product Owner - International Financial Institution

We are seeking a Client Statement Business Analyst / Product Owner with 5–8 years of relevant experience to join the international team. In this role, you will bridge business needs and technical delivery, leading end-to-end implementations of client and regulatory reporting systems. You will also shape data governance frameworks to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the product backlog for client statement and regulatory reporting solutions, prioritizing features based on business value and regulatory deadlines.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across front office, risk, compliance, and operations to elicit detailed requirements.

• Work closely with development and QA teams during Agile sprints to refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and deliverables.

• Lead system and process implementation projects, ensuring on-time delivery and seamless integration with existing platforms.

• Design and implement data governance principles, including data lineage, stewardship, quality controls, and metadata management.

• Conduct impact analysis for regulatory changes and coordinate release planning with global teams.

• Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and retrospective feedback to senior management and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Technology, or related field.

• 5–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in financial services.

• Hands-on experience with client reporting and/or regulatory reporting implementations.

• Proven track record designing or supporting data governance frameworks.

• Strong command of Agile methodologies, including backlog management and sprint planning.

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage effectively in an international environment.
