Our client, a leading prop trading hedge fund, is seeking a highly skilled C++ developer/leader to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with traders, quantitative researchers, and technologists to drive the development of the cutting-edge proprietary trading platform.
Responsibilities:
Act as a leader to formulate and drive the IT strategy and direction for the business
Work closely with the senior executive leaders to understand the organizational needs and long-term vision.
Lead and work as a team of C++ Software Developers to deliver high-quality software coding
Work with the different business lines to Identify, define, and discuss functional requirements
Design both functional and technical solutions to address these requirements
Review solutions with the team, and implement them autonomously
Monitor and administrate the system
Proficient in developing tools to support front-office users
Requirements:
A proven track record of designing, implementing, and delivering a resilient and advanced trading system.
Proven design/development experience in C++ and Java
Extensive expertise in high-performance computing as well as proficiency in low-latency design and development techniques.
Solid experience in ZeroMQ (ZMQ, 0MQ, Zero Message Queue), as well as proficiency in one or more of the following: Protocol Buffers, Websocket, Quickfix, and multithreading, will provide a definite advantage.
Excellent fluency in English
