Buy-Side Portfolio Management Implementation Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Buy-Side Portfolio Management Implementation Business Analyst to join our client's transformation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial technology and a proven track record of successfully implementing portfolio management systems. This role requires expertise with platforms such as Charles River, Aladdin, Bloomberg, FactSet, and MSCI Barra One.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for portfolio management system implementations.

• Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of portfolio management solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.

• Provide subject matter expertise on buy-side portfolio management systems and processes.

• Configure and customize portfolio management platforms to meet specific business needs.

• Conduct data analysis and validation to ensure data integrity across systems.

• Facilitate communication between business users, technical teams, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.

• Develop and deliver training and support materials for end-users.

• Monitor and evaluate system performance, recommending improvements and optimizations as necessary.

• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in portfolio management technology.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Proven experience in a business analyst role within the buy-side finance industry.

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Charles River, Aladdin, Bloomberg, FactSet, or MSCI Barra One.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

• Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with financial data structures.

• Project management experience is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
