As the BI Developer, you will be instrumental in designing and deploying the reports, dashboards, and data processes that support critical regulatory and operational functions, making a tangible impact on the organization's mission.
What You'll Be Doing
Your primary focus will be on designing, developing, and maintaining the full spectrum of BI solutions.
Develop End-to-End BI Solutions: You will take charge of designing and deploying cutting-edge Business Intelligence solutions, including creating interactive reports and dashboards with Power BI, building robust ETL processes using SSIS, and developing Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to showcase new capabilities.
Engage with Stakeholders: You will collaborate closely with internal IT teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand their data challenges, and translate complex needs into effective and intuitive analytics solutions.
Ensure Documentation Integrity: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all BI reports, data models, and ETL workflows, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and maintainability for the team.
What You'll Bring
We are looking for a seasoned BI professional with a strong technical foundation and a collaborative mindset.
Experience & Qualifications:
A university degree or professional qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
A minimum of 3 years of substantial, hands-on experience in a Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or Data Analytics role.
Familiarity with the financial services industry or regulatory environments would be a distinct advantage.
Your BI & Data Skillset:
Microsoft BI Stack: Proven expertise in developing solutions with Microsoft Power BI, SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS.
Advanced Excel: Strong skills in Excel Power Query and Power Pivot for complex data manipulation and analysis.
ETL & Database: Solid experience designing ETL processes and working with tools like C#/.NET. You must be proficient in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
Data Modelling: A strong grasp of data modelling principles, particularly dimensional data modelling concepts.
Database Versatility: Familiarity with Oracle PL/SQL development and performance tuning is highly desirable.
Broad Technical Knowledge (Bonus): Exposure to other development stacks such as Java, Spring Boot, or ReactJS would be a plus.

An active team player with strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
